TREE REMOVAL

Cutting down and completely removing a tree from its location.

1. Reasons for Tree Removal

Tree removal may be necessary for several reasons, including:

  • Safety hazards: Trees that are dead, dying, leaning dangerously, or structurally unstable can fall and cause injury or property damage.
  • Disease or pest infestation: Trees severely affected by disease, fungi, or invasive pests may not be salvageable and can spread problems to nearby vegetation.
  • Storm damage: Trees damaged by storms, lightning, or strong winds may become unsafe.
  • Construction or land development: Trees may need to be removed to make space for buildings, roads, utilities, or landscaping projects.
  • Root damage: Roots can damage foundations, sidewalks, pipes, or underground utilities.
  • Overcrowding: Removing certain trees can improve sunlight, airflow, and overall health of remaining vegetation.

TREE TRIMMING

Also known as tree pruning or tree cutting, is the process of selectively removing specific branches or parts of a tree for various purposes.

If any of the above hazards are local to one section of the tree, selective trimming may be appropriate. This may be determined once assessment is complete.

STUMP GRINDING

Stump grinding is a method used to remove tree stumps from the ground by grinding them into small wood chips or mulch.

BRUSH CHIPPING

Brush chipping also known as chipping or chipping services, involves the process of using a wood chipper to break down branches, brush, and other woody vegetation into smaller, more manageable pieces such as wood chips or mulch.
