During Covid Katya decided to pause her pursuit of a degree in medical physics and refocus her attention to her love of the outdoors and began working with a regional tree care company. After literally climbing the company ladder and earning the respect of her male counterparts, Katya realized that she not only loved the work, but believed she could offer clients a better experience, and superior service working with a partner instead of an employer, and the goal of a greater purpose was born.
With a passion for the work, but dissatisfied with the impersonal corporate approach to tree care, Noah saw how miscommunication all too often led to poor employee morale and client frustration, Noah realized that there was an opportunity for a company that offered a more personalized approach to tree care.
Having experienced the culture working in the industry, in 2022 Noah and Katya trusted in their shared skills, passion and work ethic and Margo’s Tree Surgery was born.
